The Medical Center Campus welcomes Dean of Nursing,
Dr. Amy Pettigrew!
Amy Pettigrew, PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF joins MDC after a successful 15 year tenure at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, most recently as Executive Director of Graduate Programs and Director of the Nurse Educator Career Development Pathway. She received her MSN from the University of Cincinnati and her PhD from Indiana University School of Nursing. Over the past five years she has been awarded over $1.9 million in nurse educator program development grants, and recently has completed a study investigating the learning needs of nursing students. She is a Fellow in the NLN Academy of Nursing Education, and is an active presenter on the topic of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Nursing. |
