Advisement and Career Services is where you can go to get important information about your educational and career path. Advisors provide students assistance with career exploration, skills assessments, and guidance on how to best match student’s skills and abilities with the right career path. Once your career path is chosen, advisors will provide you importance information regarding required courses, program information, graduation status and much more. All students are encouraged to see an advisor after admission to the College, after assessment testing has been completed and before registration.
In Advisement and Career services you can:
- Utilize inventories to assess your skills and interests
- Explore careers to match them to your skills and interests
- Receive assistance with interview skills and resume writing
- Receive a print out of your Degree Audit
- Receive assistance with academic goal clarification
- Receive assistance with the development of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Receive referrals for support services
- Receive assistance with job search process
